Julia Lendorfer
Head of Research and Migration Law
Julia Lendorfer is the Head of Research and Migration Law in the IOM Country Office for Austria. Within the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, she is responsible for the overall coordination of the project. Julia holds a master’s degree in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) as well as in International Development from the University of Vienna. She has more than ten years of professional experience in different research and management functions. Before joining the IOM, Julia has worked at the World Bank and was the Country Representative of Innovations for Poverty Action in Mexico.

Prisca Ebner
Administrative Clerk

Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Prisca Ebner is responsible for administration. Furthermore, she supports research in the field of migration and asylum and the organization of EMN events. She studied Governance of Migration and Diversity at Leiden University (NL) and Transcultural Communication at the University of Vienna. Prior to her assignment with IOM, Prisca worked as a German and Integration-trainer and in project-management and communication.

Saskia Heilemann (née Koppenberg)
Research Associate

Focal Point for Statistics

Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Saskia Heilemann is responsible for conducting studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, she is IOM Vienna's Statistics Focal Point. Prior to her assignment with IOM Vienna, Saskia Heilemann worked as Programme Support Officer at IOM Cairo. She graduated in International Development from the University of Vienna.

Lukas Humer

Focal Point for Statistics (interim)
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network (EMN), Lukas Humer supports the drafting of studies and reports on migration, integration and asylum as well as the organization of EMN events. Moreover, he is IOM Austria’s Focal Point for Statistics. Lukas Humer holds a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Vienna. Before joining IOM, he worked on migration and integration policies at a European NGO.

Alexander Spiegelfeld
Research and Communications Associate
Media Focal Point
Within the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Alexander Spiegelfeld is responsible for public relation activities, the EMN website, as well as the organization of EMN events. Furthermore he is researching in the field of migration and asylum. Prior to his assignment with IOM Vienna, Alexander Spiegelfeld worked as a program manager for the Directorate-General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission. He studied Social Policy and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as Nonprofit, Social and Healthcare management at the Management Centre Innsbruck.

Martin Stiller
Legal Associate

Focal Point for Migrants' Rights
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network (EMN), Martin Stiller is responsible for studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, he is IOM Austria’s Focal Point for Migrants' Rights. He supports other units in legal matters and works on the European Migration Network Glossary of terms relating to Asylum and Migration. Martin Stiller studied law at the University of Vienna. Prior to his engagement with IOM, he passed the Austrian bar exam and represented the Republic of Austria in its legal affairs.
