Julia Lendorfer
Head of Research and Migration Law

Julia Lendorfer is the Head of Research and Migration Law in the IOM Country Office for Austria. Within the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, she is responsible for the overall coordination of the project. Julia Lendorfer holds a master’s degree in International Economics and International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) as well as in International Development from the University of Vienna. She has more than ten years of professional experience in different research and management functions. Before joining IOM, Julia Lendorfer has worked at the World Bank and was the Country Representative of Innovations for Poverty Action in Mexico.

Prisca Ebner
Research Assistant

Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Prisca Ebner is responsible for research in the field of migration and asylum. She studied Governance of Migration and Diversity at Leiden University (NL) and Transcultural Communication at the University of Vienna. Prior to her assignment with IOM, Prisca Ebner worked as a German and Integration-trainer and in project-management and communication.

Saskia Heilemann (née Koppenberg)
Research Associate
Focal Point for Statistics
Saskia Heilemann is responsible for the research activities of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network. This includes the supervision of research work as well as quality assurance. Furthermore, she is responsible for project submissions, budget management and reporting. She is also the Focal Point for Statistics at IOM Austria. Before joining IOM Austria, Saskia Heilemann worked as a Programme Support Officer at IOM Egypt. She graduated in International Development from the University of Vienna.

Lisa Lenz-Ayoub 
Communications and Administrative Assistant 
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Lisa Lenz-Ayoub is responsible for administrative tasks of the team. In addition, she supports EMN Austria public relation activities, the maintenance of the EMN website and the organization of EMN events. She studied Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna. Prior to her assignment with IOM, Lisa Lenz-Ayoub was a research associate at the Institute for Social Anthropology at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

Alexander Spiegelfeld
Research and Communications Associate
Media Focal Point
Within the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network, Alexander Spiegelfeld is responsible for public relation activities, the EMN website, as well as the organization of EMN events. Furthermore he is researching in the field of migration and asylum. Prior to his assignment with IOM Austria, Alexander Spiegelfeld worked as a program manager for the Directorate-General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission. He studied Social Policy and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as Nonprofit, Social and Healthcare management at the Management Centre Innsbruck.

Martin Stiller
Legal Associate

Focal Point for Migrants' Rights
Within the framework of the National Contact Point Austria in the European Migration Network (EMN), Martin Stiller is responsible for studies and reports in the field of migration and asylum. Moreover, he is IOM Austria’s Focal Point for Migrants' Rights. He supports other units in legal matters and works on the European Migration Network Glossary of terms relating to Asylum and Migration. Martin Stiller studied law at the University of Vienna. Prior to his engagement with IOM, he passed the Austrian bar exam and represented the Republic of Austria in its legal affairs.
