Top Kino, Vienna
The third edition of the Global Migration Film Festival organized by IOM once again showcased films that capture the promise and challenges of migration.
It ran from 28 November to 18 December 2018, International Migrants Day, in more than 100 countries.
On 3 December 2018, IOM Austria in cooperation with the international human rights film festival this human world hosted a screening of the movie Bushfallers – A Journey Of Chasing Dreams: Four young filmmakers from Germany and Cameroon try to find out why Africans choose to migrate to Europe. What motivates them and what are their ideas of Europe? And do these ideas correspond to the European reality?
After the screening, there was time for exchange with employees of the European Migration Network EMN and IOM as well as a table with free EMN publications.
We thank everyone who attended this year’s Global Migration Film Festival in Vienna!
