Kathleen Nitzsche
Head, Operations Unit
Focal Point for Resettlement
Kathleen Nitzsche is coordinating the implementation of all operational activities from, to and through Austria, including IOM assistance to migrants at Vienna International Airport. Before her transfer to Vienna, she had been working with IOM Germany with a focus on assisted voluntary return of vulnerable migrants, especially those with health conditions. Kathleen Nitzsche has a degree in European Studies, German Studies, and Business Administration. She speaks German and English.

Rudolf Gurnhofer
Deputy Head, Senior Operations Assistant
In supporting the Head of Operations, Rudolf Gurnhofer is responsible for overseeing all movement activities in the framework of the General Humanitarian Return Programme from Austria and the United States Refugee Admission Program (USRAP). He has extensive experience in on-the-spot support for migrants and refugees at Vienna International Airport and speaks English and German.

Ximena Aguilera Pacheco
Operations Assistant (Field Support)
Ximena Aguilera Pacheco provides direct assistance to migrants and refugees travelling in the framework of the United States Refugee Admission Program (USRAP) at Vienna International Airport. She has extensive experience in Airline Business. Ximena Aguilera Pacheco studied Public Management at the University of Applied Sciences Vienna and speaks English, German and Spanish.

Grace Albertson
Operations Assistant (Movements)
Grace Albertson coordinates and schedules travel bookings in the framework of the United States Refugee Admission Program (USRAP). She studied Political Science in the U.S. and previously worked as a Refugee Data Associate. Grace Albertson speaks English and German.

Julia Aufderklamm
Operations Assistant (Vulnerable Returnees)
Julia Aufderklamm assists with the implementation of quality assurance measures in the area of voluntary return, especially for returnees in vulnerable situations, and provides direct assistance to migrants and refugees travelling in the framework of the General Humanitarian Return Program at Vienna International Airport. She studied International Relations with Communication, Culture and Media Studies in the UK and Finland, and holds an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Her work experience ranges from counselling migrants to monitoring human rights violations in the non-governmental and governmental sector. Julia Aufderklamm speaks German, English, French and Italian.

Rubin Dimitroski
Operations Assistant (Data Processing and Movement)
Rubin Dimitroski coordinates and schedules travel bookings in the framework of the United States Refugee Admission Program (USRAP). He also organizes family reunification for recognized refugees. Rubin Dimitroski speaks English, Bulgarian, German, Macedonian and Serbo-Croatian.

Florin-Mihai Filotie
Operations Assistant (Monitoring)
Florin-Mihai Filotie assists with the implementation of quality assurance measures in the area of voluntary return with a focus on return and reintegration monitoring and provides direct assistance for migrants and refugees travelling within the framework of the General Humanitarian Return Program at Vienna International Airport. Florin-Mihai Filotie studied Political Science and worked as counsellor for EU migrants with Caritas prior to his assignment with IOM. He speaks English, German and Romanian.

Katharina Klüber studied Cultural Sciences, Business and Economics in Passau and Moscow, and International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She worked as Immigration and Relocation Manager in the area of labour migration, and speaks English, German and Spanish.
